Can I work from home?
One of the advantages of working with HomeGate Real Estate is that we are a virtual cloud-based brokerage. You can work from anywhere you want.
How do I get paid?
Commissions are paid through ACH (Electronic Bank to Bank Transfer) directly to your checking or savings account.
Can I work part-time?
Agents are independent contractors and do not have a set schedule or hours. Our structure works great for a part-time agent.
Can I recruit agents in other states?
Yes. You can sponsor an agent in any state that HomeGate is located in.
Are there any monthly fees?
There are no monthly fees.
Is there a cap on agent sponsorships?
There is not a cap on how many agents you can refer and sponsor to the company. The 4% bonus is capped at $2,400 per agent annually.
What is my agent commission split?
Commission splits vary per location.
How long does it take to get paid my commissions?
Electronic funds are deposited in your checking or savings account within 24-48 business hours.
Am I required to join the Board of REALTORS® Association, Local MLS, and NAR?
Yes, ALL HomeGate Real Estate® territory brokers and agents are members of the local Board of REALTORS®, Local Multiple Listing Service (MLS), and the National Association of REALTORS® and abide by the NAR Code of Ethics.
What is considered a territory location?
Each territory negiable and varies by state.
Is training available for brokers to manage a territory?
Yes, our broker owners are automatically enrolled in the ultimate recruiting program, and trained to become Certified Mentors with Buffini and Company.
How does a Territory Broker get paid?
Territory Broker compensation packages are proprietary and explained in detail during a confidential initial consultation.
Can there be more than one Territory Broker in a territory location?
Territory Brokers purchase a Territory License that covers a specific area agreed upon in writing. No other brokers will be able to license an additional territory within your territory unless agreed upon in writing by both parties.
What are my typical monthly or annual fees as a Territory Broker?
There are no operating expenses to run and operate a territory location. The company provides all of the technology, websites, and other business tools required to run your location. The only monthly or annual expenses a Territory Broker may see are those they incur themselves or if other optional features are added to technology programs.
Does a Territory Broker have to use a Regus location?
No. A Territory Broker is free to use any location that they prefer other than their primary residence.
Is HomeGate International?
At this time HomeGate Real Estate® is registered in the United States only.
Is HomeGate a franchise?
Currently HomeGate Real Estate locations are license agreements to purchase territory locations. We are in the process of transitioning to a franchise.
How does the 4% residual program work?
As an active licensed agent with HomeGate Real Estate® you can recruit and sponsor new agents to any office nationwide.
Does HomeGate offer benefits?
HomeGate Real Estate® has recently partnered with Clearwater Benefits and does provide health benefit options for its agents and brokers.
Does HomeGate provide training?
Does HomeGate offer coaching?
HomeGate has partnered with some of the nations top coaching companies. Several options are available to choose from.
Is mentoring available?
Each location is independently run and operated by a Territory Broker. Mentorship programs vary by state, and administered by the Territory Broker.
Do you have contract training?
State approved forms are used for each location, and the Territory Broker or Company Trainer administers online webinar contract training courses as needed.
